Sell what you cannot eat

Plenty of people grow lau, shosha and shak in a back garden or on an allotment and end up giving half of it away. We will sell it for you — and you only pick what has already sold.

Takes about five minutes. We come back within a week.

How it works

No packing, no postage, no waiting to be paid.

Step one

Tell us on Sunday

A two-minute form: what you expect to have, roughly how much. We agree a price per kilo before you pick.

Step two

We list it Monday

It goes on the site under our badge. You do not handle customers, pricing or complaints.

Step three

Pick on Wednesday night

We tell you exactly what sold. You pick that and nothing more — no waste, no guessing.

Step four

Drop off Thursday

Bring it to the glasshouse in the morning. We weigh, grade and pack it. Paid the following Monday.

Growing bigger? You can ship direct

Once you are supplying consistently, you can move up: pack in your own boxes and ship straight to the customer through our courier, on a commission rather than a fixed price per kilo. Here is exactly what it takes — no favourites, no judgement calls.

Eight weeks in a row supplying, with no missed drop-off
Averaging at least 15kg a week over the last four weeks
Registered as a food business with your local authority
No rejected batches in the last six weeks
Passed a packing check — box, liner, label, weight within 5%
Signed supplier terms and product liability insurance in place
What we take

Nothing, on the first tier

We agree a price per kilo and that is what you are paid, whatever we sell it for. On the direct-ship tier we take a commission instead, agreed before you list.

What we ask

That it is good enough to sell

We check everything at the door and we will turn things away. It is the same standard we hold our own cut to — our name is on the box either way.

What you need

Less than you think

For the first tier, just somewhere to grow and a way to get to us on a Thursday morning. We handle the rest.
